Call for Abstracts
Abstracts related to one or more of the following topics and themes are invited to present in Hong Kong and/or Shanghai, China:
- Development of advance orthopaedic / trauma nursing practice
- Nursing Program / Health Educational Program in the community
- Practice and service development
- New and expanded roles of nursing
- Patient education and advice
- Evidence based practice and implementation of research findings
- Leadership
- Information technology
There will be 20 minutes in length in total including questions & answers.
Abstract Requirement & Format
- Abstract must be
- Written in English
- Typed in Microsoft Word document (in electronic format)
- No more than 250 words
- Each abstract form is only for ONE abstract
Abstract should be in the following format/layout
- Abstract Title
- Name(s) –
- List the authors and underline the presenting author.
- Type the surname in full, followed by the given name.
- Omit degrees and titles.
- Institution – Type the name of the institution, the city and country.
- Content –must be typed and should not be more than 250 words.
Presentation in Hong Kong
- Presentation and power point should be in English
Presentation in China
- Power point should be in English with Chinese Translation
- Presentation in Mandarin or English (Priority would be given to presentation in Mandarin)
Abstract Submission
- Deadline of submission: 30 June,
2008
- If you do not receive email acknowledgement within
7 days after your abstract submission, please call the
Conference Secretariat
for confirmation.
- Submission of an abstract implies that the
authors agree that the AADO can duplicate the abstract for distribution
to the participants at the conference.
- Completed abstract forms should be sent to
the Conference Secretariat by email

- Notification of Acceptance of Abstract: 15 July, 2008
- Registration fees will be waived for
participants whose papers are accepted for presentation (either in Hong Kong or Shanghai, China).
- For overseas successful participants,
AADO will sponsor 2-night hotel accommodations ( in single room basis and assigned by the Association) in Hong Kong and / or Shanghai according to the site of presentation
