Advanced Bioskill Workshop on Interlocking Nail Technique
4th & 5th December 1999     Beijing, P.R. China

In conjunction with the Beijing Ji Shui Tan Hospital, where our Vice-President Prof. Rong Guo-wei is President, the AADO ran a 2-day "Advanced Bioskill Workshop on Interlocking Nail Technique" in Beijing on 4th & 5th December 1999.

The Workshop was well attended by over 30 orthopaedic surgeons from the Beijing region. With the strong support from Stryker, hands-on practice was available on saw bones. We covered almost every aspect of the interlocking nail, including the Gamma and Long Gamma Nail.

Although the presentations were made in English, the audience received well with the expert translation by Dr Chun, a budding orthopaedic surgeon who works at the Ji Shui Tan Hospital.

We look forward to more of these activities in the not too distant future.
